70 year old male treated for gynecomastia by liposuction alone, easily done as an office procedure. As men age, their testosterone levels drop and the small amount of estrogen that all men have present in their systems can trigger gynecomastia.
Unlike this condition in younger men, where a significant breast bud is usually present and must be surgically removed, gynecomastia in the older patient is usually overwhelmingly fat and is treated by liposuction alone.
